16 Jun Uma
The new UMA opened its doors less than one year go in its new location, barely 100 m away from La Pedrera, in a very intimate space well-thought to resemble a cozy living room.
With just two services a day, 4 days a week, for 12 people each (lunch one begins 13:30 while dinner starts 21:00), what Iker and Anna propose is a full experience that starts from the moment you are requested to be punctual not to make the rest of the guests wait, ring the golden Gaudian door bell and enter their “home”.
From here, a nice epicurean journey begins.
The tasting menu (unique available option) changes with the market and the season. Nonconformist and imaginative, Iker’s cuisine is totally unscripted and not conditioned by a formal gastronomic education: it is fresh, fun and delicious.
I cannot recall at the moment the last time they were outside the top 3 restaurants of Barcelona on TripAdvisor so, if you are determined to dine here, consider the reservations open 7 months prior date.
