Although Barcelona is always a good destination, sometimes we need a moment to relax outside the big city. Just 20 minutes from Barcelona we find Mas Salagros Rural Hotel, an option to enjoy a day of relaxation and well-being. It is a 100% eco-friendly hotel, you’ll find everything from eco-amenities to seasonal, local ingredients at the restaurant.

The hotel has thermal baths, by the international brand AIRE Ancient Baths, with different pools so you can disconnect and relax for 1 hour approximately.

Apart from its beautiful views, it has a beautiful restaurant, Restaurant 1947, surrounded by vineyeards and they have an attractive menu with seasonal ingredients. We started by sharing some of the starters such as the carpaccio and the fresh salad with goat cheese. Then we passed on to the main course. My favorite option on the menu was the entrecote, but we also shared a big seafood paella. The dessert was a great surprise with the chef weekly suggestion: tatin cake with cream and chocolate ice cream. It was delicious!
