22 Aug Terrace Vibes
We all have anxiously been waiting for summer, especially after experiencing a difficult winter this year across Europe. In Barcelona, to enjoy this season, a sure stop is always one of the many terraces or rooftops that hotels in this city have to offer. Many tourists & locals flock to these rooftop oasis’ and enjoy the fresh air while relaxing after a tiring day.
I will share with you a list of my top picks! And surely I will be discovering more over the course of the summer!
Alma Barcelona
The 5-star grand luxe hotel located on Carrer Mallorca, just a few meters away from the Paseo de Gràcia, has been my favorite one for the past two years. It has it all: a nice location, a bar with a garden terrace, the Jardín del Alma, with trees playing the role of umbrellas and a Cocktail Bar rooftop with nice furniture and a view of the Sagrada Familia, the Tibidabo and Montjuïc mountain. And of course, a great selection of cocktails to savor into the night with friends!

Casa Mimosa
One of the latest H10 Hotels in this city has also brought a new secret spot. It’s garden at the back peeks at Casa Milà and is filled with trees and has a small red-tiled pool, reminiscing those famed Moroccan-style patios. Located at the top of Pau Claris street, parallel to the Paseo de Gràcia and close to Diagonal street. The perfect place to disconnect.

Hotel Omm
At the top of the Passeig de Gràcia, the five-star Hotel Omm has made a name for itself through its design but also its lifestyle offer. Live music at the bar every Thursday and during summer time, its rooftop is an attractive spot. It has a slight view of the Sagrada Familia and has live music until 10PM and then it carries on with a DJ. A great urban environment to chill, take in the sounds and the sights!

Hotel Pulitzer
This one will attract a younger generation with its non-stop music. Located on the Carrer Bergara just next to Plaça Catalunya, the Hotel Pulitzer rooftop is moving and dancing every night. Don’t come too late, it may be overcrowded and very difficult to find a seat.

A few more additions worth mentioning are the Dolce Vitae rooftop bar at the Majestic Hotel & Spa or, more surprisingly, for a quick stop, you can have a coffee on Massimo Duti’s flagship store’s terrace strategically located with a backside view of the Casa Milà.
